These first harvests mark an important time to come together in community and prepare for the winter ahead. I feel it was more than a festival, it was practical. A day to come together and reflect on the past growing year and imminent harvest … and how best to distribute the work that needed to be done.

Eyebright clears those unwarranted thoughts that loop and hold us back with confusion, self doubt and all that clouds of the mind. And so he lightens the mood, supports expansion, creates an openness to diversity and access to our multi-dimensionality - Clears the mind and sharpens the senses - dispelling doubt and uncertainty.

Plants communicate with us through the vibrational frequencies of the sacred geometries that they hold, they hold memory for us within each of these unique codes. They hold these as a reminder for us, so that when we align with them on our healing journeys we can see what is holding us back. This is their alchemical gift, overseen by the Elemental Kingdoms, when we can enter into reciprocal relationship with them.

“Fire! Fire!” Is all they seem to say. Traversing across Northern Lands, in search of dark on the longest summer days - and the warm nourishment of food … to ignite, to breed, to create …

One continuous Fire - reigniting the Heart each time I moved it, only to move it again. I started at 6pm - when the Sun was still high, hot and bright, which the Fire mirrored - worked through the brief darkness until the first light started to stretch across the North East horizon about 2.30 am, when I started the return to the Centre.

To find the purpose a distillation of the Pearl needs to occur, allowing those particles to be decoded into a knowing through the waters of consciousness. And with that a growing clarity as the Rainbow Fire is drawn within so as to find it’s own source from there - which is where the Opal holds this inner Rainbow Fire.

She grows out of damp soils where Water and Earth merge, representing the embodied consciousness of the shift from Maiden to Mother. 

Bright and quick they fly so close by me I can hear and feel their wing muscles manoeuvring their flight, as they brush past.

Their brilliant bright song fills the heart with it’s sweetness. 

Eating and drinking what the land offers is more than nurturing our bodies, we develop an intimacy with the Earths body, an innate awareness of seasonal flow, the tender miracle and determination of life, how it is sustained and meets it’s needs within an eternal dance of evolving relationship.

Over the past few weeks the elementals have been handing over pockets of land and guiding me what to plant in each, as well as glimpses of next years projects already - which means it’s taking some level of self control to not rush in and complete this years projects first!

It feels curious to me that after the year of Snake, which was often referred to as releasing old layers - removing external structures - that this then enables the expansion of the year of the Horse - more room to grow … which loosens what is more deeply buried within to rise up and be seen, witnessed and dissolved.

About this time last year it was Goldfinch who would meet me in the White Willow each day and her message was Self-Love and so I asked Blue Tit, do you have a message for us? Here is his reply …

It’s mid-April and it’s something of a relief to know that throughout all the storm winds, rain, sleet and snow - that nest have been built, eggs laid and the young are hatching …

And so though some have concerns about those trying to access the 10th Stargate, let me reassure you, they are too late. the work has already been done.

Being online creates a very different experience, one that is not being limited by place and distance. By it’s nature it curates a more immediately independent relationship with the natural world - one for your own contemplation, discovery and sense of food and natural resource sovereignty. As well as increasing and building bridges of understanding ethical, reciprocal relationship and consideration of the sentience of nature.

From Christmas Eve to the 6th January I spent time in gentle retreat and contemplation - gentle in the way that I didn’t fully remove myself from the outside world. In many ways this is no different from how I usually live, other than my intention.

Gentleness wields a potency that is more pervasive than force

… the image I received was similar to that of the Will o’ the Wisp - a being filled with curiosity … and we have started conversing.

And so represents the hollowing woman - the one who is becoming free of conditioned beliefs and expectations.
