Greenfinch: Songs of Abundance

I’ve been talking at length with a dear friend over the past few weeks about the multiple layers of living in Abundance. And during this time Greenfinch really made himself known and for three of those days was the only bird I heard here. 

Green is considered to be the colour of the Heart Chakra, so it’s not surprising that the little bird represents the weave of connection between Love and Abundance. The Earth loves to clothe herself in all shades of green as Spring arrives continuing into Summer - a time of joy, rememberance and promise.

Here is Greenfinches message in his unique voice:

“Abundant is the Land

Abundant are the plants, their flowers, sweet fruit, their seeds …

What richness, what nectar!

All is Divine.

Sumptuous, plump and ripe

Bountiful, Beauteous, Delicious.

I find joy in what is right in front of me, in each moment.

And as my heart swells with the delight of discovery,

more flows towards me.

I open to the flow and it fills me …

Overflowing I pour for others

sharing the generosity of the gifts I receive,

in each moment

This is my movement

my presence

my song”
