Willow Warbler: Songs of a Triple Goddess
This little birds song has really got my attention, while staying on the croft. Though difficult to catch a glimpse of, he sings beautifully all day and I love his accompaniment to my time here.
When I checked online I saw that her medicine was one of expression and focus as well as endurance and patience.
And though all that may be true of my current unfolding of experience, what would she say if I asked her directly? So this morning connecting with her and Grandmother Willow this was their message:
“ She is the voice of the Willow, reminding you that looks can be deceiving.
Connected to the Maiden aspect as she move towards the Mother.
Even those of you embracing Eldership still revisit the threefold journey. Your memory layering over a more stable foundation than the first time you stumbled fresh-faced from child to parent.
This is a time to revisit your innocence and hold the responsibility of guardianship for that. What wisdom do you now hold to nurture parts that have been neglected?
What songs do these parts carry that you have forgotten?
Eldership isn’t a rigid status - it is fluid - one that moves through all three aspects retrieving innocence and purity, reparenting self with the still, quiet reflection that spins the song thread down into the well of your being, retrieving the balm of wisdom.
Now it is spring and time to lay out and let all that you have forgotten bubble up to the surface with the joy of rediscovery.
Child-like, but not childish.
Sing your Heart.
Relinquish control.
Allow and celebrate the process”
with much Love,
from my Heart to yours,
