Foraging as a Sacred Art: Workshop with Fly Agaric, Amanita Muscaria

£44.00

Sunday 15th February
6pm UK time
on-line
3 hours

In this exciting collaboration Lauren Lochrie joins Tania Aurora White Crow to explore the practicalities of foraging, medicinal and metaphysical values, alongside the mythic folklore of the Plant Kingdoms.

“Lauren's interest in Amanita Muscaria developed through working with trees such as birch and pine as they often grow together. Lauren finds these interconnected relationships fascinating and is particularly drawn to the medicinal uses of fungi which often times harness their potency from the trees themselves.”

“On a subtle energy level Fly Agaric is about repairing and restoring connection both within and without and rebalancing our relationship with Mother Earth in an intrinsic way.” Tania Aurora White Crow

In this workshop we will cover:

  • Practical considerations: Foraging, identification, medicinal, food value and more

  • Reciprocal relationship.

  • Step-by-step Demonstration: Lauren will make an infused oil with Amanita Muscaria, for topical use.

  • Mythical and Spiritual lore.

  • Shamanic Journey Meditation facilitated by Tania, to connect with Amanita, and her mycelliac networks.

  • Q & A

  • Tania was first called by Fly Agaric, Amanita Muscaria, after she started co-creating Sacred Earth Essences and invited to co-create an essence with Her. Though having over 25 years experience of foraging mushrooms - a fungi essence was something new and so this relationship changed, became deeper and more spiritually inclined.

She later met a Medicine Woman working with Fly Agaric and spent time with her in the Appalachians and Hawaii also exploring other species through her perspective lens.
