Witnessing Birth and Death within Community with Thom Chaffey

“I am a man, a husband and a father. A poet, a wordsmith, forging the immutable into the tangible. A carer, a lover and giver. I assist others on their life's journey in whatever capacity is needed in the moment. I have experience with life at its extremities and a lot that comes in between. My soul yearns to be reunited with source while my body yearns for tradition and community.”

Thom Caffey is a full-time father and currently lives with his partner and three children in Germany. He is passionate about conscious birthing and dying being witnessed within community. And the immense potential and healing power these thresholds have to transform community.

“We are our stories. And we tell our stories to unravel the ones we’ve been told.”

Here Thom shares some of his stories of being guided into this important work including the significance of his own birth process. We also cover:

  • Consciousness and the Web of Life.

  • Dynamics and energies present during the birth process.

  • Woman as a portal.

  • Abandonment wounding.

  • Being a Father and a man, involved in a Birth.

  • Holding space.

  • Life long patterns influenced by birth process.

  • Richness of Indigenous medicines: Mexico and a rebirthing experience.

  • Imprinting of energies from conception onwards.

  • Sacred teachings of the Australian Aboriginal people and the didgeridoo.

  • Conscious dying and being witnessed.

  • The spiral of life and living outside of linear time: Prosperity.
