My Shamanic Mentorship material grew out of observing a need within those I was meeting who were rapidly developing on their path, in a way that I felt was unprecedented.
I feel these are days when formal shamanic training may not be the way forward for such people, as well as those with training in other spiritual and energy medicine backgrounds. I was blessed that my first teachers recognised this within me and ‘fast-tracked’ me through training.
What is needed though is eldership, a guiding hand and heart that supports grounding the gifts being received.
By running Shamanic Mentorship groups and sessions my aim is to provide the language, the validation, the framework and process for what you may already be experiencing. And then from this platform you will then be able to expand your skills more easily through your instinctual spirit training.

Despatcho Co-Creation and Ceremony:
Introduction
Despatcho comes to us from indigenous South American traditions.
It is a very intentional, multi-layered, ceremonial prayer - a spiritual request anchored into the physical with a deep sense of the interconnectedness of everything.
Each item added carries deep spiritual significance - a weave of potent medicine, consolidated into a unique tapestry. One that demonstrates a commitment to our soul purpose, and a humble request for greater alignment to manifest our dreams for ourself and the World.
2. What to expect
The Video is both a demonstration and a personal ceremony, which includes much information and guidance for co-creating your own Despatcho.
The photo’s are from the same ceremony and are there as a step-by-step reminder of the ceremony in the video.
These support a deeper understanding of building these sacred intentional layers into a beautiful cohesive simple prayers. In this demonstration I was offered Medicine by Buttercup as I completed which I wrote about in the Resilience of Joy.
3. Preparation
To prepare for your Despatcho Ceremony you will need to set an intention.
Deciding on how you’ll offer up your completed Despatcho is key to the form it will take.
In the demonstration I knew I would be burying mine.
Once your intention is set you can start to gather the components.

1. Gathering Despatcho components. Everything I have gathered has deep personal meaning.
2. Creating Sacred Space

5. Creating the Sacred Circle with Tobacco and Herbs and Quadrants with Corn meal. Tobacco and Cornmeal are traditional, whereas the Herbs are a mix specific to the energies and medicine that I am aligning with.
6. Staring to add the prayer layers. I am adding honey for Sweetness and connection to Bee Medicine.
7. Stones from two different special places for the Centre. Here they also seem to represent the harmonisation of polarities like a Yin-Yang symbol.

20. The Soul Skin is being wrapped around the prayers.
21, I chose Raffia to bind my prayers and tie this despatcho.
22. A last addition was to seal the Despatcho with candle wax. Before offering final prayers and closing this part of the ceremony.
