Welcome to Earth Dreaming
I have been wanting to create a blog long before I considered a website, though social media has filled a gap, I am so delighted that it is coming to fruition.
This blog is to create a community around a monthly Medicine Walk, where our collaborative wisdom synergises into a Guided Shamanic Journey Meditation that I will record and share here. My hope is that by sharing our ways of seeing the world, we each deepen our wisdom and broaden our understanding.
I call this Earth Dreaming.
The Earth is talking to us all the time. We are her children, she wants what is best for us. She wants us to remember that our separation from her is an illusion, we are Earth and she is us. As we tune into this, start to recognise, engage, show gratitude, appreciation and the awe that brings deep heartfelt respect.
There is much understanding that night-time dreams are a way for our soul to draw attention to details, patterns and other events in our life that we may have missed.
Yet dreaming doesn’t stop there, it continues out into the everyday through our body symptoms, the language we use, the unexpected out of the ordinary events that occur - that we may feel are disrupting our lives. When we step back for a while and observe, there is rich material being presented to us all the time that our soul and the Earth are bringing to our attention - what would happen if we engaged with it?
What would happen if we realised that these interruptions to our lives and routines were benevolent guidance?
This is Earth Dreaming. For me, this Earth, or World, Channel is one of my main sources of intuitive wisdom and learning. And the more I have leant into it, the more is revealed.
Our external world is sending us information all the time, all we have to do is ask! As soon as we start to listen and acknowledge this information and pay attention to the messages coming through and align ourselves more deeply with them, we enter into a communication - where nothing is a coincidence and as soon as the Earth knows we are paying attention, the messages seem to flow more and a dance follows - often at the edge of our understanding. Often revealing new aspects and inter-connection months or even years after.
The signs are a subjective symbolism, but there are robust myths and archetypes that we can use to reveal their even deeper pervasive meaning.
And so we learn to live within this constant unfolding of the weave that forms the tapestry not only of our life, but of All Life.
