Waters of Redemption
Exploring the deep connection between water, purification, and community, reflecting on how nature guides us to remember our interconnectedness.
Spirit guided me with the title ... nevertheless, water has been playing a prominent part in many ways. I've found myself more drawn to it and experienced my first ever Kambo session. Working with frog medicine and that amphibious nature, supports deep cleansing and purification. I got to spend time with elders, not only through age, but through spiritual lineage and the purity and potency of that.
Many places are experiencing drought and here the the Highlands we've been having days hotter than any in the summer!
People gather together when resources are low
Frogs were everywhere during the foraging course I was running last weekend ... so right now I am feeling there is something grounding and community building about water. People gather together when resources are low and look after animals who may be in need - natural distress too - fires, flooding ... we remember our humanity and it becomes a clarifier of our interconnectedness with All.
What would life look like if we didn't need these things to remind us and we could wake everyday, every moment and remember? Maybe you can take these question on this months Medicine Walk ... or may be you have others. Either way I would love to hear about your experiences and reflections.
Last time our meditation was about being in the womb, being in the maternal waters. Though many of us may not have experienced this, ideally a community builds around the mother at this time, for the new to be born into ....So far, these Earth Dreaming meditations have supported working with our:
Inner child and early experiences
Ancestral lineage, whether spiritual or blood and our time in the womb
I am feeling this one will bring a completion to these making this a series of four.
What do you feel will emerge next ?
I am feeling that it will be something embodied, grounding and nourishing to complete this series. Or will something else altogether unexpected happen?
