Retrieving Joy

Earlier this week I had a profound session with a client, where we retrieved a part of her from a past life that embodied joy, laughter, devotion and taking up room - lots of room !

This was what is known as a ‘rest life’, and one where my client experienced full embodiment of all she is. The Divine Plan never ceases to amaze me. 

In our session we did extensive clearing, dissolving and alchemising to create the room needed. We went back to the Fall, renegotiated and scrapped contracts, she had her wings returned. One lifetime took us all the way back to the Vatican, I seem to be a frequent visitor there ! We worked through the guilt and grief, persecution and oracle wounding. My client worked hard and met me deeply in our work together, which always enables such profound sessions. 

This is why we were able to create the space for this fully embodied aspect of her from a past life - though this work is shamanically called ‘soul retrieval’. This was so much more than a traditional retrieval of a lost soul part.

Even in her lifetimes as a priestess, a saint or other holy person she wasn’t as fully embodied as the woman in the Gospel Hall, where she was as free to celebrate, dance and sing without persecution and not give a shit.

From a shamanic perspective it is more straightforward to retrieve and integrate higher soul aspects in this way, rather than to allow it to embody directly from higher realms. For there is already cellular memory of the integration process. This is what I mean about the beauty of the Divine Plan.

I encountered one of my rest life’s when I was in the States last year, one where I was happy in a life full of fun and adventure - despite the external paradigms these lifes occur within, they are blessed and generally free of the heavy lifting we may experience in others - and this radiates out and touches everyone within their vicinity. 

Until the work with my client though I hadn’t consciously realised that we have the opportunity to be fully embodied in them and that they have the potential to be both a key and a doorway onto an accelerated path. One though, that is gifted to those prepared to dig deep and do the work.

I know that when something so profound happens within a client session that there is also a message for the collective. So my invitation is … where have you hidden your joy? Your happiness ? Your best life ? 

Go and find it, and bring it home.
