The idea
Here me and my guests share our stories. Wherever we are on our path we all have at least one story. Stories of alignment, transformation and surrender. Divine moments that are both ordinary and extraordinary.
Whether it’s one that created a course correction to align more deeply with Spirit that was a game changer or many events that filled us with such awe it deepened our trust in that still quiet voice within - our spiritual guidance - however we experience it and name it. Some may be traumatic events that years later we recognise them as crucial turning points. Others may look like lots of little, seemingly insignificant moments - at least to onlookers - but it is the corresponding knowing and feeling that accompanies them along with the deepening trust in Spirit. And we are able to breathe more freely and let go a little more.
The knowledge that something greater than us has a perspective beyond our human reasoning facilities. One that loves us unconditionally and shows up again and again … and may suggest taking actions that go against any learnt logical sense …
This process of unlearning and deepening that trust is the path of surrendering to the Divine.
Outside the walls of the church, the monastery and sacred spaces it presents in ordinary, tangible moments through our mundane everyday experiences.
In ways that may shock us, create dissonance … but they are unmistakable and ground our faith until it becomes unshakeable. These oh Wow! Divine Moments - followed by wondering if that really did happen as you step back into the ordinary, only it’s no longer the same.
We follow that knowing, because not following it becomes an unbearable rejection of our authenticity, integrity … For the comfort of knowing that that guidance is our greatest ally, becomes greater than our fear. When living in alignment means that Spirit always comes first. Always.
No matter how scared we are, no matter what chemicals are running through our bodies trying to create a flight, fight, freeze or fawn response we do it anyway and each time we do we grow closer to ourselves and our Creator.
